Biography book reports for 5th graders
BOOK REPORT DATES AND INFOStudents will be assigned a monthly book report. These reports are to encourage students to read books, finish books, try different genres, present orally to a small group, and celebrate completing a book with a creative project. The project will be assigned 1-2 weeks prior to the due date. Details and examples of the assigned projects can be found here on this web page after the assignment is given. (Last to first order)Be sure you finish reading your book several days before your report is due.
Everyone picked a person that they would like to research, the onlylimitations is that there must be a book on their level aboutthat person in our library. Our library has a great selection of biography books so thekids were able to find a book easily for this project.After completing the research they began working on the shoebox. The students wrapped a shoe box and made 4 gifts for the person they researched based on what the person would like or want.
